my sub woofer box design opinions

Hows this sound.

3 cubes of airspace
tuned to 30 hz.
Has a 3" wide port with just shy of 41 sq. inches of port area.

Externally, its 32 wide X 15" high and 18.75" deep.

This will house 2 x pioneer premier subs. How do you think it will sound please ?

yes, the spl's. Thats the opinion I wanted to hear. I've just finished the box build, well just about.

Actually, I think its the 3001 spl's

just need to get the subs now, will be buying them in the next cpl of days and cant wait to hear what they will sound like. I just hope they drop very low in this enclosure

no, it measures 32 wide x 22 x 16.5in high, the other is 32 wide x 18.75 x 15in high

Nearly finished it now, just a few little things left to do. I didnt bother sanding the box down or anything inside, its a touch rough on the inside, nothing even major. Would it be best if I rubbed the inside down or am I really going to notice the difference if its left or not ?

Ordered my pionner premier subs so should be with me this week

My subwoofers arrived today and f**k me are they heavy. No need for coilovers anymore once I drop this mama in.

All I need now is some box carpet to complete.

Wish now I done a dbl baffle thingy on the front but ill sort it out nicely when its in the boot so it looks all flush.

I have now finished they have been installed. running these of a hifonics bxi 1606 and they pound. they drop really low, i mean real low. I have my amp gain turned up a near to half, does that seem right. No bass boost or phase turned on.

Nice..... I got 2 of those subs myself. So how did they sound in that box?

Some info regarding the port length ? I think i cud use a similar box in my car. :)
