14 x 14 x4 ?? help

I am building a sealed sub box AND THE BEST LOCATION available to meet the .45 cu ft spec is a 14 X 14 X 4 box. The 4 is the 1 figure that can't change.

I read somewhere that no 1 dimension should be more than 3 times any other dimension although I don't remember where or why?

What happens if I use these specs? Is it even a problem? Thanks in advance for everyones help and advice.

You'll be fine with those specs. No problem.

Most "truck style wedge" boxes are very small on top,
yet are very wide. They sound fine that way.
