I need some decent 6.5" coaxials with good midbass. They won't be getting more than 30 watts or so and will be running off my stock Bose amp in my car. (Yeah I know, it might be kinda ghetto, but I'm not going to go active in this car).

Any suggestions? I don't want to spend to much.

If you can swing around $120/pair, check out the Pioneer REVs or their Premier variant twins over at www.onlinecarstereo.com.

To be honest I would like to stay in the "el cheapo" range: $60-80 and I'm not opposed to used. In fact, I prefer it.

If you can throw a $10 bill on top of that, you can get them for just under $90 shipped at SE (http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_4258_Pioneer+TS-D161R.html) ($87 shipped at millionbuy (http://www.millionbuy.com/piotsd161r.html)).

Those are great speakers i use then in my front stage, now they are in the back, you wont get a better coax than that, especially for the price.

I've got a pair of JL XR650 CXi's I'll ship you for $89. There in 100% working cond and sound good. I had use them as rear fill and they were crossed at 160hz and never got played hard.

If you're going to recommend the Pioneer REVs, spend a few extra bucks (or less at onlinecarstereo) and get the new D-Series Premiers:

http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/ProductDetail.aspx?ProductID=19143

They're quite a bit better than the REV or older D-Series Premier speakers.
