need a box strictly for spl for sbn can some one throw me some numbers will be ran off a modded d300hc 1800 watts rms in a 300c

MAX dimensions are 32x14x26 square port need port dimension and area and freq

also should face sub foward/back and same for port

any help would be greatly appreciated

like to get this thing into high 140 if possible

wow u want an inefficient sub to be in the high 140's
all i can say is slap it in 5 cubes tuned to 40hz with 60 square inch port...hopefully that will do the trick

or could i do better with a single re sx, pioneer spl 3002, or re xxx

ill have no doubt that the sx can burp with upper 2000watts, 2600+ to be precise. but on the pioneer, maybe 2000watts is good. thought im sure pioneer would do best.

buying a re mt 12" tomorrow am when local shop opens no specs on re page
what dimensions freq port area should i use this should be better that an mx or sx correct
for SPL COMPETITION ONLY

You should find the cabin gain of your vehicle before making any competition boxes.

You've got to build a box with a Qtc of .707, play test tones, from 30-60Hz. Every frequency in that range needs to be played and needs to be metered and recorded. You will notice a certain frequency with a significant increase in decibels compared to the other frequencies. After you have found the golden frequency, you may build a box tuned to that frequency.
