Frequency response/RMS-Price
45-20000hz/ 5-60 watts PG 129
65-27000hz/ 110 watts Type R 136

what would you go with... the type Freq. seems all over the place... but their price is so much more... would i need something that goes that high?

Anything with "Type R" in the name must be awesome.

don't pay attention to the claimed frequency response. it means nothing mounted in your car.

Without have any experience with the PG's(except reading about them) and with hearing the type R's and having no experience with the type X's(except reading about them)

I would go for the RSD's but for $87 shipped online. Why Pay $130 for em? Apparently these speakers can take more than 60 watts, and have good clean midmass for the $87 you pay for them.

I do not like what I have hear from alpine as far as my front stage. Only reason I was running alpine coaxes in the rear in my current setup now was because I got em for $30 new.

On Ebay, go to search for Ebay stores and type in "audiosavings". You'll see em, $87.00 with free shipping. I just ordered mine. :D

I had the Type Rs in my car before the RSDs and I would def recommend the RSDs between the two. The mid bass is great on them, just be ready to tone down the tweeters a bit at first.
