Save $100 more and you can get something nice on ebay. I got a Kenwood DDX-7017 for $375 shipped in mint condition and I saw a Kenwood 6019 sell for $400 shipped in excellent condition w/ ipod adapter.

The first 6505 is a refurb, and I would rather have the Panasonic than the Kenwood, personally.

Not very partial to Kenwood though

If you're going new in that pricerange, I'd go this route : http://cgi.ebay.com/2008-JVC-KW-AVX710-2-DIN-DVD-MP3-DivX-7-TOUCH-SCREEN_W0QQitemZ250224098293QQihZ015QQcategoryZ798 35QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

If you dont mind used/refurb, pick up that refurbed 6505, **** good deal and not a bad unit at all

I would go with a Panasonic, or them pioneer look alike ones. They are nice, I cant think of the name right now though. They are cheap too.

Surprisingly the Jensen double dins have really nice features as well, although they look a little cheap. You might be able to find an alpine w200 or the JVC double din for around $400 as well.

what do you have to buy to bypass the PANASONIC CQ-VD6505U ebrake protection?
