I have it but I just took out one speaker from the box that it's put away in. Looks exactly like the other one!

that dvd recorder doesn't have a hard drive built in does it? Can you recommend a decent cheap one that does?

I don't believe it does. I'm not sure about any real cheap hard drive recorders but you might want to browse through ebay.
