I would sell it and use a different sub if possible.

Not possible..

Sell it and get an MJ18 from Mach 5.

Not much more expensive, lower power, and is a beast of an HT sub.

By home theater i meant general use in a house environment. With that little power a Type-R is gonna **** pretty hard at everything.

I HIGHLY doubt that thing even does close to 370 watts.

185x2 is most likely max wattage aka a worthless marketing scheme that means nothing.

To the task at hand i would do around 1-1.9ft^3 at around 20-28 htz. If you need a custom design i can get you one for free.

i think its rms..i once tested a l7 on one channel and it hit decent enough to fill my bedroom with bass so im sure a type r can do fine if its bridged..i would get a diff sub..but i dunno what would be cheaper and sound as decent..ima have the money soon so ima take you up on that free design offer..thanks alot
