View Full Version : HU that can handle a 3 way active setup??

Well I'm designing a new setup for my truck. I'm planning on running a 3 way active front stage. I currently have a Eclipse 8445 and have been told it will not be able to handle running a 3 way setup actively. So 2 major questions.
What are some HU that can handle a 3 way active front stage??
What makes a HU able or not able to handle a 3 way system??
Thanks. I did a little bit of searching with no avail.

3-way active crossovers.
I'm using a Clarion DXZ955MC and its doing the job beautifully. Also look at the Alpine 9887, and Pioneer 880PRS

I have the clarion dxz775usb and it's doing a fantastic job with my 3-way active setup.

Thats almost tempting but I don't have the cash on hand to buy it. I'm paying in taxes this year so, I don't have a lot of spare cash right now. Thanks for the info though!!
