Hi Everyone,

First question..IF a recomended cubic inches ranges from .90 - 2.79, does that mean that anything inbetween these two numbers will sound good?

Second question...Whats better to use 5/8ths thick or 3/4ths thick wood...what would you recomend if you did not have alot of space? Thanks..

A lot of the wood thickness depends on the weight of the sub and how much power it is going to see. As a general rule I will only use boxes that are 3/4" thick. If space is tight figure out the HxWxD of your usable space within your vehicle. Work the problem and see if it falls within the dims you were given if so build your box within those parameters. As for the size if those are the parameters Yes you can use anything in that range. The smaller you go the tighter the bass is going to be. the larger is going to make the sub a little sloopy but also a bit louder with better low end.
