LOL.....the only visible pannel on this enclosure will be the baffle once
installed and it had to stay below seat level...
with the slope of the panel and the curve of the flare it's an interesting
build

awesome work. a quick question, when you kerf the port like that the port area is larger so do you calculate tuning differently???

I really hate using window bracing in enclosures..it effects the
way the woofer uses the inner cf3 but if I have to I keep it
to the min and router off all the edges

You are the uncontested master of the kerf. Seriously, no one's even close.

Thumper, what's your average price? The amount of detail you put in is simply extraordinary.

94Mazda626
03-13-2008, 01:36 PM
Not sure of his average price, but I will say that when I had contacted him to quote me a price for a box for a 12" AA Havoc his for one of these kerfed boxes was only 50-75 dollars more shipped to me than a local place had quoted me for a sealed box. :)

I don't recall the specific dollar amounts now. The local place was out to anally rape me, I think they said somewhere in the 200-250 range.

For more stuff on his designs he has a website at www.poundthatsound.com (and a forum there too :)

I try and keep the price of the enclosure down because of the shipping
costs....
