Hi, I'm going to upgrade my head unit and speakers within a week from what the guy that owned my car before me had, and I know all about the head unit, but what speakers are these? I mean, obviously they're Pioneers, but specifically what model? If any of you actually know it, I'll be REALLY surprised. Lol. Anyways, here's the link to a picture I took of the speakers...

They are an old crapy 2-way coaxle set. Sorry I don't know any more than that. Trash um either way.

They are Pioneer TS-1376 ... from a few years back

Would THESE be any better? I WAS going to get some JL's, but I can get these brand new for $50. I'll probably still end up getting the JL's, but just incase...

No. The Rockford's would be $50 from my friend brand new, and he also has the JL's brand new for $125

For $50 the Rockfords would seem like a steal ..

Either would be better then the pioneers but you will notice a major difference if you amped the speakers .. Running the comp sets off the deck will only yeild a partial increase in SQ .
