I can buy the 6.75 inch Pioneer Premier component set really cheap locally, and was wondering if there was an adapter or something I could buy.

how much room behind your door panels? could be done with some serious baffles.

Uhh, never really took a look. This would be my first component set so I've no clue...the vehicle is a '98 Dodge Ram though...if that helps.

Crutchfield says 5 1/4's up front and 6 1/2's in the rear, with the Infinity sound upgrade.

I really think you should double check that, maybe reference a second source to be sure. I used to have a 98 Ram Quad and it was just the opposite. Granted it did not have the Infinity upgrade, but I don't think that would have reversed the speaker sizes.

I am thinking it is 6x9s as well. I looked at a truck for a friend and thought...man, what a stupid idea.

Alright well the fronts are 6x9's and the rears are 5 1/2s. Do Pioneer REV coaxes come in 5 1/2s? I'd look...but I don't know what the REV model numbers are.

If you don't mind, let me suggest that you do not bother with upgrading the rear speakers in that truck. I made the mistake of doing that and I can absolutely say it was a complete waste of money. I could not even tell a difference before and after. Without question it was the most unnecessary car audio purchase I have ever made.

I use a dremel tool and enlarge the hole a little, peice of cake.....
Adapters stink and usually push the speaker too close into the door panel
causeing an ill fit....
