If I was to put dynamat all around my 6.5" (in the doors) and cover majority of the holes. Should these speakers improve by a good margin?

Opps the speakers are clarions (they are loud) but no bass (hear little bit of rattle) and I think its because of to much free-air and holes.

Yes sealing the doors with dynomat would have add better midbass response.
You would also whant to deaden the outside of the door panel to.

Use Secondskin Damplifier Pro or Rammat BXT. Either will be cheaper than Dynamat. Expect to use at least 15-20 sqft. You can use more.

Agreed...... adding sound deadening material and sealing the doors would really help out.

Sound deadening first, speaker upgrade (if needed) second. IMO
