building first box..

Ok here we go...

I have a hatch back and looking to build a sealed box.
I have a height of 7inches and a width of about 4 feet and length of about 5 feet to work with...mounting depth of the subwoofer is 5.68in...and needs a volume of 1.50cu.ft.

Can some one give me dimensions?

Width, Length, Height?

You can choose whatever you want ...

First take the Volume Displacement of your speaker in consideration...

pick out ur Width, length, height (do in inches) (also depends on your size of wood eg mdf 3/4" ... in that case subtract 1.5" from each W, L, H

multiply all three W x L x H then divide by 1728 to get the TOTAL volume

lastly subtract .... Total volume - Speaker volume = your volume
