That slot port design, or that size box with Aeroports? Also, if aeros, how many/what size?

Someone help me out. I want to make these HX2s SLAM!

lol.

I don't think you have enough depth to make aeroports long enough.

I would go with a slot port in this scenario.

Depending on what its going into, he could also Fire the ports to the side, mounting them length wise. If in a truck, and he has enough space to allow the ports to breathe, that would be the optimal set up.

True. He didn't post what type of vehicle.

4 10's? Do 4 4" or 2 6" aero's if possible.

Not sure about the aero ports but what software is that designed with? Looks pretty neat so i am just curious.

2 6" aeros to the side...looks like a truck box, if it is, bam:D

If it's in an SUV...well aero ports won't be long enough unless your tuning a bit higher

Itll be going into a Chevy Tahoe. Box design maximizes my cargo space, while still being a decently sized enclosure. 48" wide fits EXACTLY between the wheel wells.

Then you have the right idea, Sub up, port back. I really perfer aero ports, but i do not think you can make it work with your current box design. Try to make both port faces as smooth as possible and avoid square corners. It should wang if built correctly. GL:)

I appreciate the comments man. I have come to the conclusion that Aeros simply wont work.

Looks like this slot port design will be the winner.

Like you said though, if built correctly, hopefully, should wang for me.

Any other tips you can give me? Bracing, cornering, rounding? Anything?

Thanks!

use aero ports with a bend?

You can bend them using an elbow, although it's not optimal.

is it being re-thought now?

im bored at work, so i circled some things on your box to do. All the port corners and

90's should be rounded, the smoothest transition as possible. I do not think bracing

will be needed due to the port and short depth of the box. I would resin the inside

of the box / port to smooth out things as well.
