hate to break it to you and make you look like an idiot but DDR is more expensive than DDR2 and 2gb of PC2700 for $80 is a decent price

might want to look up prices before you threadcrap next time noob(and not prices from rip off companies on pricewatch)

That is correct.

You might wanna post some more information about the memory like cas timings and such. That looks like it was memory just pulled from a system because samsung doesn't sell direct stick of memory they just make chips. Is that correct?

I am not sure, I had bought this new online from ebay but it wasnt compatable with my system.

I also thought ddr was more and that 80 shipped was a decent price.

I dont really have more info, that is all I know....sorry.

Samsung made really good memory for regular DDR memory and i believe they where the first to come out with DDR3 RAM if im not mistaken

*not to judge a book by its cover but usually gaming RAM with lower CAS latencies came with heat spreaders not that it really matters but just food for thought
