I'm about to make a 3 cubic feet sealed box. I need to know how much carpet do I need to carpet it. I was thinking i needed 2 yards but I'm not sure. Did I guess correctly?

depends on the dimensions of the enclosure , and the width of the carpet. I always buy a yard more than I need. Hell of a lot easier to cut extra off than to add extra on :)

X2, you could allways use the extra elsewhere.

Find the area of each face and add them together. Assuming it's a cube, 9x9 = 81 x 6 = 468" / 12 = 40.5' / 3 = 13.5 Yards Area.
You want carpet that'll cover 3 sides, so 9 x 3 = 9 yards wide by 12 yards long would be ideal. Get more, of course. I would get a 10-11 Y-wide by 13-14Y long. I'd rather have too much than too little.
P.S. I've always wanted a Suzuki Motorcycle. ;.;
