BLITZ audio FTW!!!!
Seriously, you need to provide some info, not just ask a simple question. What mids are they mating up with, what "sound" do you like, are you just looking to get loud/make noise?

its going to depend on your mids and where you want your crossover point to be

I have a RE XXX 15" so I am leaning more towards loud than for SQ. In the doors I have 4way 5x7 pioneers.

I have my door speakers on a MTX amp and would probably put the tweeters on my Eclipse CD5000 cd player. I dont know if that would be the best setup

I know those 4ways have the tweeter and super tweeter but they still cant stay with the bass. I think as much highs I can get from those pioneers, I turned the bass all the way down on them and added bass blockers.

Its a little more money than $50 but if you want the best tweeters for the money look at some Earthquake Screamers...They will keep up with anything ;)

Unless you put a bandpass filter on your mids, then you'll be getting cancellation by just throwing in a tweeter.

Sorry, what do you mean by cancellation?

it seems to me ur gettin further away from SQ. ditch the 4ways and pick up a good compnent set. No point in cheaping out on the speakers if u already spent that much money for a 15" XXX

I was going to go for sq, but to get decent components that would keep up with the sub is too much $. I would love to have some rainbows, morel, focal or something along that line at some point.
but to get decent components that would keep up with the sub is too much $.
So just set the sub levels correctly so it doesn't overpower the front stage?
