Does anybody have any experience with this cd player ?
Any opinions and input on it would be appreciated. I want a budget indash unit for a F-150 system I am putting together. I do not have amps yet.

I bought that HU I think 2 years ago for about $300 from Car Toys. I loved it and I'm actually gonna get me another one as soon as my income tax comes in. I was very happy with it. The only thing I didnt like but was a very small thing for me was that the knob on the right hand side of the unit is a bit touchy(sp??). That is the knob that controlls your station tuning and you cd tracks. Its very easy to skip several tracks finding the one you want. But for me it was a huge step up from the sony and pioneer models from Wal-Mart that I owned in the past.

Find someone with more experience than the 2nd poster. Not because his opinion doesn't matter, but because of his limited experience with HU's.

I dont have experiance with the CD4000, but I can say on behalf of the CD5000 is that is an amazing headunit, especially considering the advanced time aligment 7 band EQ, crossover feature, and many many many more options, at that price you really cant lose with the CD4000.
