got a proto neo tc3000 paired up with a 15" vmp right now... cant wait till i can finish reconing the axis 15" (it has dual 1.4 ohm coils so i can get more power out of my amp)

buuut, this is how it sits for now and i must say, it hits the lows like no ones buisness

2 diff subs?...and diff ohm configs?

one sub and one passive radiator... the sub that is installed right now will soon be replaced with a 15" audiopulse axis with dual 1.4 ohm coils and two medium spiders as opposed to the proto neo tc3000 with dual 2 ohm coils and two soft spiders that is installed now

ive been playing with 20hz test tones all day, you can barely hear anything, just feel air rushing past your head, that and it makes my car look like its falling apart (dash jumping and such)

isn't a passive radiator supposed to be a larger diameter than the active woofer?

ie: 10" active= 12"PR
12" active= 15 PR
15" active = 18 PR

It needs to have a greater amount of displacement compared to the driver. That doesn't always mean more cone area but it's safer to go the cone area route than to try to get much more throw.

ehh... the pr has around 40mm of throw as opposed to the sub's 33ish mm

so i figure im good... and i will get vids when i get done with the flush pannel, and get the 15" axis in there instead of the neo sub, its not suited for this box very well

great work. I love that brace you built.

i works great.... i call it a window brace, but i was just going by what the design said (not that the design was very complicated in the first place)

I really wish I cared enough about SQ to do a good sealed box. The only one i ever did was for my old AA Avalanche...and it sounded great.

Nice looking box, dcole18. It's nice to see a PR in use for auto applications once in a while.

Also I notice you are from Knoxville.
