Yeah, I opened up a dispute already (late Monday night, actually). I've also spoken to Paypal and they told me that the funds are automatically frozen once a dispute for that much is opened. Sonic Purity opened up a dispute yesterday too so, as long as the funds are frozen, we should both be ok. In the meantime, I'll be keeping an eye out for anything that's coming from Cali so that I can refuse the delivery -in case he decides to ship SOMETHING out. I also found out that he sold the SAME laptop on eBay the day AFTER I had already paid him for it. His username on there is 'bdoggg911'

yes they will..... Paypal will get them the cash back weather its there or not. Done soooo much paypal, eBay biz I know how it works. People have actually tried to reverse scam me stating they did not get their items.. luckily, I ship everything signature comformation :) The ONE time I did not, I got scammed, luckily it was only $20.

Obviously you haven't bothered to look at all those threads (about this guy being called a scammer) or you'd know that it was actually myself and sonic purity that called him out. Before he ripped us off, there weren't ANY threads about him. As for refs, the guy posted pics. with his name and the laptop in them so I gave him the benefit of the doubt. Don't worry about me though. After all is said and done, I assure you that I'll be alright ;)
