i plan on building my box whats a site or a way to see how many sheets of wood i need

also instead of fiber board can i use a normal pressed plywood

how big is your box

A sheet of ply wood is 4x8 ft and a sheet of mdf is 4'1"x8'1".

I think you can figure it out yourself.

Negative on the ghetto plywood. Use baltic birch (birch ply is acceptable but not great), oak, or MDF -- I wouldn't use anything but those... well that goes for the sub $100 sheets of wood types.

On how much wood you will need, draw up the enclosure and then draw the panels you will need onto a drawing of a 49" x 97" piece of wood. It's really that easy.
