Are there other better (more functions) HU's out there in the $300 range? Ill look at used units also if anyone is looking to sell theirs.

Thanks for the reply bro, yea im really expecting to be confused when I get it, because from what ive heard it has countless functions for EQ and all. How is the display will it look good?

oh yea,, the 9887 is pearl.. my friends bmw has one installed. You can basically tweak anything you would ever want. IMO, its either alpine 9887 or the pioneer 8800 which can be had on ebay for 350 shipped... cant go wrong with either one of those units. so between those 2, Pick which one you like the best.

IMO, its either alpine 9887 or the pioneer 8800 which can be had on ebay for 350 shipped... cant go wrong with either one of those units. so between those 2, Pick which one you like the best.

Dunno about an 8800, but check this out:

I know, I mean I think the verbage on the pioneer website is a typo... lol.. if not my 9887 may be up fs ;)
