running 1 1222d @ abt 500w rms in a 1990 chevy blazer. im limited in the space, i have abt 26"w(max) x 14 - 16"h x 14 - 16"d. looking to tune it to abt 30-32hz with abt 1.6 to 1.8 cuft....the plan below is almost perfect, if i can figure out how to make the width to abt 25.5" and keep the cuft and tuning close...any help greatly appreciated. thx

1.5" wide port.. so the port walls are 11.75in, and 8in.

If I were you, I would make it ported instead of vented.

You would get more air space doing a right angle port...

umm no you wouldn't. you get a better port length to volume ratio with a 180 degree turn vs. 90 degree

That is true but you also get more port noise that way. The less the port turns the better, and you can thus use less port area and a shorter port.

**** brian, you're a may '07, you wouldn't know what I'm talking about :(
Suffice it to say, a dear member here, among other things, tried to convince the forum that vented and ported were two completely different things
