Thanks, 8 cubes... dont recall exactly... As long as we can get it under 150 lbs we are cool, otherwise we have to look into freight...

Its 17" tall. I hate to give out much more info then that, because Chris paid fmy designer for it. If you need to get a design made, you can contact my designer, Dylan@fishercustoms.com.

Thanks man ;)

i was just trying to see if i could fit a box for a single 15 in my trunk with sub back/ port back.... max height is like 16inches, think you can make 1 that will fit?

Why not have the double baffle wall tie into the sidewall instead of the double baffle overlapping the side wall? The same could go for the port wall. There would be surface area for the bond this way.

You could gain a little bit more surface area that way. But there is actually a couple reasons I do it this way, some being related to the business aspect.

One is, structurally, will it make a differece? Most likely not.

So if your gains are minimal, with a little more time involved.... thats where the business part will step in...

But I do see your point :)

Being a spl guy I like every little bit of strength that I could get:) I would hate for a strong sub to blow a wall out.

Im not to worried about getting a wall blown off. If it hasnt happened in the first 150ish boxes... I dont really see it happening ;)

But I see what your saying, a little extra strength never hurts, but in this instance, I dont think its necessary.

Oh plus, keep in mind 99% of what I build are Daily Driver Boxes. That makes a difference...

It does happen. A high powered motor can blow a wall out on a single baffled box.

I gotcha man. I didnt want to come off like "My way is the only way" lol. I have weird reasons for a lot of things that deal with the design. Just ask Chris or Dylan, LOL.
