want to give me box designs for 2 12"cvrs.

size doesnt really matter as long is it us under 2.8 cubes.

also are there any other materials i can use besides mdf cause the home depot by my house carries ****** mdf and i spent 40 dollars for absolute ****.

These are out of the box plans thread, and you can use birch and trupan as well for boxes, and are you sure your getting mdf and not 5/8 partical board, I know the Lowes here has that in the mdf place sometimes when they are out of actual 3/4 mdf

My suggestion: remake this thread stating that you need a box design for your specific subs IN THE TITLE.

what do you mean ****** mdf? i've bought in excess of 50 sheets of mdf from home depot and they were all exactly the same.

like a had a piece of scrap of it after i cut and i tried to nail through it it would break., i tried a few different glues. it all absorbed into the board, screws didnt work
it was a brown colored mdf and it was 3/4th. at least that is what it said on the rack.
and when it flaked it almost looked like cardboard. so i dont know maybe one of the signs were in the wrong spot.
cause i know when my dad bought mdf fora closet in my basement it was alot brighter colored.

alright thanks.

i remember someone mentioning something about birch but i couldnt remeber if it was stronger or weaker.
