Beckett Grading Services is the leader in sports memorabilia grading. BGS is also the toughest. PSA 10 graded card usually equals a BGS 9 grade.

Not to thread jack but I cnat figure it out

BCCG is the same as BGS? Both are Beckett? For some reason I dont think so, but people keep telling me they are. Seems like BGS holds better value.

And why, if BGS is tougher, do PSA graded cards go for more?

BGS is the toughest of all graders. They are very detailed and have subgrades. Their casing is very thick too.

BCCG isnt as tough...and its for those who want to pay less for their grading. The graders arent that in depth and crucial with their opinions with BCCG.

PSA cards dont necessarily go for more. But PSA has more of a following. They are found in most shows.

A BGS 9 card may sometimes equal a PSA 10 card. They are that tough.

Yeah and that's where my dilemma begins

I have some older cards that will go 8-8.5 and a couple even 9's psa but only a 8 flat BGS...which to do? I would assume psa

as far as grading...you are better off going with PSA for a better grade.

but as far as buying graded cards, BGS is the way to go.
