Isn't there some sort of a converter box to increase/decrease the pre-out voltage from a HU?

Thanks man. I just want to get one to up the voltage from the HU to the sub amp to keep the gain adjustments on the amp down.

Alright.. This thread seems like it's got its answer so I want to add a question..
Can you measure pre-out voltage with a DMM??? Like would it be a bad idea to stick the leads in there?
IF not AC or DC?

DC, touch the ***** with one lead...and the ground piece (surrounding metal) with the other lead...
thats if you have an RCA cable connected..
