what will sound better for an sq setup?
small ported 12" box
sealed 12" box of the same volume?
my mustang doesnt have that much trunk space and i don't wanna get rid of my spare tire:confused:

It depends on the sub and the desired frequency response.

A sealed box that is the right size.

i wanna get a type r with a ~600w amp. if i get it ported i would like to get it around 33hz. i haven't measured the trunk but i was looking at it earlier and it looks like the maximum space will be around 14Hx24Wx12D. these are rough numbers i will get the real measurements in the morning.
