Everyone is telling me different ***** about different comps, I just want a straight up answer regarding what is GOOD, or else I'm ordering Rsd comps.
I've got $200 to spend, and they must be 6.5 w/silk tweeters.
Oh, and my comp amp is a JL 300/2. :D

Yeah that's what I'm leaning towards, they can actually be found for $87 shipped.

Ahhh thanks for the link. ;)
Although I'm not interested, after looking at the specs I see they do not have a silk tweeter.

I'd really like to spend as little money as possible, so I'm probably gonna go with the Rsd components and use the extra $$ to buy more damplifier.

while on this topic..What about a good coaxial speaker for this price? i'm not willing to cut up my doors
So put in kickpanel pods, no door modifications needed and the pods can be removed without any damage to the vehicle :)

CDT CL-61a's- I had em for about 6 months or so and loved them. I got them for $100 shipped, but you can probably get a pair for 80-90 shipped.

be on the lookout for Diamond audio, they should come for cheap in a couple of days

Q-Forms are useful as a starting point, I guess...they need to be reinforced as they resonate quite easily, and they need to have some sort of backing to seal up the pod as they don't have one...
But custom is really the way to go, so you can fine-tune the aiming of the speakers.
