You could probably keep the amp and bridge it. That would up your budget for comps upto 350.

http://www.almaniaudio.com/sevenseriesspeakers.html these? edit: scroll over twice... once again literally no knowledge of subject...

also the cost of fiberglassing will come into play as well...so consider that

Soo it should do 100ish per side? Do you mind buying used? That opens up a whole lot more options.

What size mounting is your car? If you have 6.5s you can just bridge the amp for 200x2

That should be plenty for many of the name brand stuff.
Boston can handle the power
Rainbow can handle the power
CDT would be ok at keeping up.
I really like the upper end JBL comps.
Morel also is good stuff.

if you just want loud find you a set of polk or Alpine stuff.

Then search the classifieds on here as well as DIYMA and ECA. Do you have any idea what type of sound you like? Aluminum tweets or silk, etc? There are plenty of options and you should be able to get a great set for that money. Post anything you're looking at in here if you so desire.

s7-602c -

...602 is probably a coax.

You would have to speak to a dealer about them, they are new, I don't see them listed online. I was quoted $90 from a dealer.

thats the thing i have no predetermined idea of what i want...im not that picky either...and to be honest i could look around on this forum and elsewhere and get absolutely nowhere :( iv been reading some different threads but im not really sure about what is good whats bad...nor do i really know what i want it to sound like bc iv have little physical experience....i just know i dont want skreeching annoying highs.
