well, i finally got my box built and ordered my RE SE10 for my new setup. I think the box turned out great and the sub, well it speaks for itself. For a $160 sub this thing is extremely well built imo.

I got the sub wired up and this setup is almost as loud as my last setup (see sig). Right now i have around 750 goin to it using the amp in my sig. (too much power??? maybe???)

the box was suppose to be 1.5 cubes tuned to 33 hz, but i was told by someone on this site that it was 1.2...but it still sounds great.

Let me know what you think.

i just remembered, my girlfriend went to visit a friend out of town and wont be back for a few days.....i will get some more pics and a vid as soon as she gets back...

Nice sub @ box. I love the 1 10 idea in your Pony. Don't need much in that anyway to get loud.

SE's are fun little subs.

I ran 2x 12" with 1200 Watts total. They would wang pretty good, and sounded decent doing it. I miss them sometimes...

thanks, it does sound very clean....it is way more accurate than my two type r's i had previously.

yeah the box i had with the 2 R's was way too heavy. and besides, i gained about 2 more cubic feet of cargo space haha.

thanks for the comments guys...

i am about to watch your vid but i am with 80 inches on the power u could throw almost 2000 watts at them for competeing an be fine but daily yea about 1000 to 1200, they are badly underated i think cause i seen a guy have 2 15's se in a 07 tahoe and had 2 of the 4000 watts MA audio amps and only put up numbers like 148 to 150 but i think he didn't have it tuned right, i will have to post some pics of it for you later to see what i was talking about

yeah, i had the 04 model type r's....the were underrated at 300 rms, unlike the 05+ which was 500 rms...the newer r's are better i assume...never heard them in person

I just noticed that the surround (or w/e you call it) is very different... Like the old one is round and "puffy" and the news ones are very hard, and "ribbed"

thanks...

yeah, its AS loud as my 2 04 type r's. I had about 400 or so going to each of the r's and around 750 going to the se. That's only 50 watts difference, which isn't much when talking loudness. So they should sound about the same, right?
