12" box

right now i have a sealed box with 2 kicker cvr comp 12" subs but i want a ported box with plexi in front of the subs. i have alot of dumb questions and here goes another one. wont my subs hit harder in a box with plexi in front of them?

No but they can play a certain fequency band louder if it's properly designed. Otherwise it will sound ******. I wouldn't recommend it for music.
