Looking for some 6.5" mids to go along with my Blaupunkt Vc100 crossovers/tweeters.

Any suggestions? I've got $150 to spend, not a dime higher.

Well, because I have $250 to spend on a new set of door speakers...and I have those Blaupunkt crossovers and tweets laying around..so I figured I'd spend $100 - $150 on new mids, and spend the rest on sound deadening for the doors...:D

I guess you'll pass up on my offer on the Z6's.

How old are they, and how much power do you think they can handle?

I will be running these with a JL 300/2.

Just get the phoenix gold rsd componet set for around $90 shipped then you'll have an extra set of tweets and crossover in case you don't like the ones you got or they crap out on you.

Not sure how old they are. Bought em about a year ago, hardly ever used them (but I bought used). They work just fine, I have em in my FS thread and tested them out to make sure they work. They're rated at 400w rms per mid. Last I spoke to a Boston Acoustics tech, he said he was running 390w to his. I hooked it up to my Eclipse 8443 and my stock mids sounded better (since I had no amp on them) so I didn't use em.

they are also very selective in applications that are useable in a car.

there are plenty of good choices, you could always try to find some rainbow w165 kick mids, should definitely be less than 150

I was looking for 130 shipped on the mids. I have the nx-30's too, but Im keeping them for a little longer until I decide what I want to run.
