turned out very nice. does a 146 usaci style. for a sealed box in a sedan i'd say thats very good.

Yeah I'd agree, either 2 chrome or 2 black, the 2 different 1000/1 amps look funny

I think it would look better with matching amps as well, but I think it looks great as it is. And it obviously gets loud too.

I'd have done rear firing, but whatever.
Was this 146 on a TL? I had 2 sealed 18's in a 8 cube box, upfiring, off more power and only got ~142 DB out of it. (In a 93 Caprice sedan.)
The engine compartment wiring leaves a lot to be desired. And that's coming from me.

46 on a tl. usaci style. so meter in kick with door open. i didnt mention this car has more dynomat than you can imagine. also, no back seat in. the trunk was also foamed.

Do you actually remove it? I thought you just pushed it in toward the cone while you put in the screws then it just pops back in over it.

What engine are you running in your impala?
I saw one a few weeks back w/ a ls1 and a 4l60e awsome car.

That's an LT1. 99.99% still have it.

you mean his is a lt1?
I was talking about one I saw that had the ls1 (the successor to the lt1)

It was at a gas station, if I had my camera phone on me I would of asked the guy if h minded me taking a shot of it, nice looking too. But yea I guess it isnt that big of a thing to drop a ls1 in, heck with the ls2 out now you can score a nice ls1 for not much (even w/ tranny), though I am more of a f-body guy.

huh? i don't think you know what you're saying.
a t-56 is a 6 speed trans. that is an ls-x motor swapped into a b-body.

I thought it was a t-56; as he said the car in the pic had a ls2 and a "6 speed", I naturally figured it to be a tremec t-56
