I will build a ported box for one 15" Kicker L7 for SPL application! But when I use WINISD to config the box's Hz...I dun what the graphic means...so I dun no 40Hz will better or 35Hz is better!

Can any one help me...I hope the box can be around 4.5cb ft!

35hertz will sound better, and 40 will get louder, but not sound as good

OK...thank ya!

One more question...
is it the changing the length of the port will change the Hz??

What can I use to calculate the box for Kicker....cuz it's not a round sub!!!!
And I can only follow Kicker's box??

I dunno how to do!
Can anyone do for me?

I want 4.5 cu ft + port(slot port) tune to 38-40Hz for a 15"....is it a efficient size?
Thz...!

Most people that I know of tune the box to the resonant reequency of the sub or 45-50 hz. With the T/S parameters you should be able to get Winisd to figure out the size of the box needed. If you only have 15" of hight to work with build a hatch type wedge that should give you 17-18" of surface to mount your sub with room to spare.

the shape of the sub doesn't matter, do it just like a round sub....
