how big of a box should i have if i wanted to run 1100 watts to a 12" brahma sealed? i looked on their website, and it said .92 cubes for 900 watts, so is 1 cube good for 1100? what about if i went ported, but still sq/sql, with the same power/same sub? i need some advice, as im not very experienced...

I think you will be Blown away with it sealed and that amp , I would personally make the box around 1.2 1.3 cubes thou , It will get really loud ! And sound amazing ! I had mine in about 2 cubes ported and I really liked it better sealed ..

Sounds about right I think 14x14 x14 with 3/4 comes to about 1 foot

so we'll just say 14 and a half inches in every dimension. another q, won't i need a thicker piece of mdf to mount the sub to? maybe 1 inch?

You can double up the front plate with 2 pieces of 3/4 if you wish .

thus not affecting the volume of the box! eureka!
