Anyone heard these 6.5" comps, or know what the specs are? If you've heard them, how did you like the sound?

A higher power handling version of the Precision Power set. More money also.

Thanks Gary. So they're supposed to be pretty good, then? Or would you say they're over-priced for what you're getting with them?

From all the things I've read that Gary has posted about the PPI 365 (I'm hoping this is the set he's referring too), then they should be some pretty nice comps.

- Well, I would not pay the $500 - $600 list price for them, but I would imagine as dealers get them in stock, you could negotiate a deal for much less. Yes, they are excellent, up there with the Pioneer PRS and PPI sets, Focal kevlar series, Polk SR series, to name a few. Could have more X-max than the PPI set, I don't know.

What would be a deal on them now?

Yeah? In your opinion, how's the tweets sound? On the brighter side, or a nice balance? Midbass response good, or average?

Thanks for the reply.

- Only prices I have seen are list prices... but they just came out... I would think that in time, as more dealers get them in, you would be able to find them close to what the previous chameleon series comps went for.

There's a set for sale over at DIY but you probably already know that.
