x2 on the REVs.

You can get the Premier version (http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/ProductDetail.aspx?ProductID=14553) for about $105 shipped.

Rev's or Precision Power at onlinecarstereo.com

If you can do a component set, Almani PCS65C (PCS-65C) are the best speakers I've ever seen for the price... they were on ebay or millionbuy.com for about $50

Interesting. It's actually cheaper to order them from millionbuy.com directly as oposed to their eBay store.

eBay price: $49.99 + $19.99 shipping = $69.98
millionbuy.com price: $49.99 + $10.93 shipping = $60.88

Will TS-D161R work instead of TS-D601P?

Can the Almani PCS65C also be mounted in the rear deck?

Yep, they are the exact same speakers. One is the Pioneer standard line and one is the Premier line.

Why certainly, but I will recommend you focus on the fronts first to bring the soundstage and imaging forward. Run it like that for a little while to get accustomed to it, and if you still want rears, then throw in some coaxs (like the REVs) powered off the HU.

REVs it is. Looks like they will fit my 2001 Staurn SC2. Later if I add an Amp, how much power will they take?

If you run them full range, 50-70w rms each. High Pass them at 80Hz, a bit more. :D
