whats up guys im kinda new to car stereo and stuff like that but i know a decent amount. Right now i have a 05 Malibu with a 06l712 with a zx750.1 amp and a pioneer premiere 590ib head unit.

Lately ive been looking for a comp set up to buy in the near future and after some research so far i am pretty dead set for picking up a pair of rainbow cmx 265 kicks. Well besides any other comp recommendations, whats the best amp i could pick up to power these bad boys? Id prefer an amp with a lower budget but any recommendations are fine.

and lastly ive heard that changing the rear deck speakers isnt as important as changing the front stage..what would be a smarter idea to switch them out or leave them as is and if switch them what would be recommended maybe a pair of pioneers? my front speakers are 6-3/4 and the backs are 6x9.

thanks for the help!

if your gonna have components up front and a Sub...The rears aren't all that important....you can just take them out or do whatever you want with them.

For low budget, but decent amps, here's a couple:

Profile AP1000 for $86: http://www.millionbuy.com/prfap1000.html
Cadence TXA-3002 for $129 (free shipping): http://www.cadencestore.com/ProductCart/pc/viewPrd.asp?idcategory=125&idproduct=382

And you can also buy a refurnished Kicker kx450.2 for $160, includes a 90 day warranty: http://www.hifisoundconnection.com/Shop/Control/Product/fp/vpid/1458695/vpcsid/0/SFV/30046

If you want to spend a little more money, the Alpine PDX-2.150 is a sweet, tiny little amp: http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/ProductDetail.aspx?ProductID=17193

Can't go wrong with the recomendations above, but the best budget 2-channel I have seen is the Panasonic... 700 watts RMS total into 2-ohms for close to 100 clams.

For those comps, you're going to want to give them around 2x175-250w rms to make them open up.

Xenon X200.2 (http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/ProductDetail.aspx?ProductID=14134)

ZX550.2 (http://www.hifisoundconnection.com/Shop/Control/Product/fp/vpid/3159517/vpcsid/0/SFV/30046/order/asc/order_by/title)

Or, for the deal of the decade, head over the midwestelectronics.com (an authorized dealer) and pick up the Blau VA2200 (http://www.midwestelectronics.com/blaupunkt-va2200-p-86.html). Have some toilet paper handy when you see the price. These will do rated power and maybe a teensie smidge more (comes with a birth sheet and are CEA-2006 compliant). Review right here (http://www.diymobileaudio.com/forum/showthread.php?t=5088). You better jump on it quick though, as they are clearing out their stock and these might go fast now that I've posted it.
