vehicle: 08 Rubicon Unlimited
head unit: stock w/clean sweep
sub: ID MAX in sealed 1 cuft.
amp sub: alpine PDX 1000.1
amp mids & highs: alpine PDX 150.4
budget: $500 for both

looking for good sound quality at a decent volume. so lets hear what you guys think. thanks.

I would say go w/o the rears, but if you must just get some cheap coaxials and run them off the HU

that is what i am leaning towards. took off the top today and boy does this stock system need help!!!

Most stock systems do, unfortunately. Even the so called "premium" factory sound systems that people are being charged sometimes $1000's for.
