Having trouble finding the belt tensioner for my car. Anyone know anything?

look for the tensioner pulley. 20 bucks says its the bolt holding the pulley.

You are correct, Sir. I actually found it like ten minutes later. The belt is located on the passenger side of the engine and you literally have 1.5 inches of space to work with between the pulleys and the wheel well. The malibu is proving to be a greater challenge than I anticipated.

That 2.2l, as well as the 2.4 and 2.0 engines, used in Chevy's FWD cars, are NO fun. On the 2.2 in the cavy, you have to take a paddle bit or hole saw to the fender well to get the belt tensioner off. The bolt is so long that it hits the **** fender well , so you're about 3/4" from getting the bolt out far enough to remove the tensioner. The non-ecotec 2.2 is a ticking time bomb. Every one of them I've ever seen, has twisted/snapped the crank between 120k and 160k.
