I would like info for HUs that have direct USB and are compatible with powered External Hard Drives.
What works; Search options; Approx navigation speed, whatever info is out there.
This is the setup I would go with:
80GB or larger External 2.5 HDD (http://www.newegg.com/Product/ShowImage.aspx?CurImage=22-334-005-01.jpg&Image=22-334-005-01.jpg%2c22-334-005-02.jpg%2c22-334-005-03.jpg%2c22-334-005-04.jpg%2c22-334-005-05.jpg%2c22-334-005-06.jpg%2c22-334-005-07.jpg&S7ImageFlag=0&Depa=1&Description=Aluratek+80GB+2.5%22+External+Hard+Dri ve+With+Push+Button+Auto+Backup)
Dual USB cable one data, one power (http://www.newegg.com/Product/ShowImage.aspx?CurImage=22-334-005-05.jpg&Image=22-334-005-01.jpg%2c22-334-005-02.jpg%2c22-334-005-03.jpg%2c22-334-005-04.jpg%2c22-334-005-05.jpg%2c22-334-005-06.jpg%2c22-334-005-07.jpg&S7ImageFlag=0&Depa=1&Description=Aluratek+80GB+2.5%22+External+Hard+Dri ve+With+Push+Button+Auto+Backup)
USB Power Adapter (http://www.amazon.com/Kensington-Auto-Power-Adapter-K33418US/dp/B000QJ56WW/ref=sr_1_6/102-7284697-4309731?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1188456049&sr=8-6)
The HU I'm most interested in is the Kenwood KDC-X791.
Thanks
