I don't know where to post this.

But i was thinking in the Car Audio Classifieds we could instead of it being 1 giant place to post. have sub thread's one section for subs, amps,hu,electrical. This is just my idea as this would make it better than searching in 5000 pages of thread.

Thank you.

With a site this large, I'd have to agree.

Threads get buried very quickly in the classifieds and dividing them up into sections would make things a bit better.

Then you have to make multiple threads for different items, which is ridiculous... makes it more cluttered and harder to keep track of.

Also, there's a section for **** like this. Feg.

NOT the general audio discussion section...

If you divided it up into Subwoofers, Speakers, Head Units, Amplifiers, Electrical/Wiring, EQ/Processing, and Other I think that would be good.

Yes if you were selling a head unit and some speakers you would have to make two threads, but it's not like you're selling stuff every single day on here. Plus if I were selling the items and putting 20 seconds of extra time into the sale made it much easier for people to find my items, I would consider it worth the effort.

If you are selling multiple items very frequently, then just put your threads in the Other category. Or maybe a forum could be created for package deals, or multiple items.

Oh wow... a circle jerk. Not to mention, utterly slow.

If I wanted more maturity/knowledge... and plenty of traffic still... I'd look into SSA...

Or, there could just be one forum to browse through. Instead of eleventy forums...

You are making it QUITE a bit more difficult than it needs to be.

making multiple threads might help the seller, though. its more work but its also more marketing.

:crying:

It'll never happen because it doesn't really matter to g00b.

Also, it would make even MORE work for a moderation staff that is already spread thin.

Not to mention, another reason it won't happen is the fact the the r-tard who made this thread originally, can't even make it in the correct forum to be recognized...

LAwl.

Tried this twice on other forums and it failed miserably. It's a lot more work to moderate in almost every aspect. I think that most would say these are the best classifieds because they are both busy and centralized.

Since we have so many users listing multiple items for sale in an ad, I think it would create more headache than helping out with things. Anymore input?

On forums with this situation there is a multiple items option

Its pretty simple

I think there is better things to do, then mess with the forsale section..

Sorry Ng,Since ur a mod why don't you move it to the right section? in the first post i state i don't know where to post this. And on the subsections we'd have a Garage Sale room. where if you have mutiply items you go thier.

ngsm13
08-30-2007, 09:07 PM
Yeah, so you can have even ANOTHER subforum.

This thread is a perfect example of why this should NOT be done.

R-tards, or people who are in a hurry won't take the time to put it in the correct section...

I'll now move this thread to the correct section.
