I bought a set of iridiums from a seller on the forums back on 05, one got damaged and consequently i never got to install them or hear them.
Two years later, i was looking to finally get the driver fixed so i could install them or sell them, but alas the place i bought them from had gone belly up. There was nothing he could do for me, and i wasn't sure DLS would do anything for me since it was not a defect and i really have no push or pull as far as they are concerned.
I contacted Don knowing he sold DLS and was a pretty nice guy. He offered to send in the driver for warranty (a replacement would cost me 175 had i needed to purchase it) and asked for nothing in return. A little while later, it was in. It will be shipped to me in a bit.
I cannot say how great this is, its saved me a lot of time, effort, and stress. If he will do this for people who aren't haven't even bought anything from him, imagine what he will do for his customers. I'm leaving this rep for Don as a good seller and a great guy as far as i'm concerned.
In the future if i'm in the market for stereo equipment i will likely be heading that way for some of my components. To me great prices are just as important as peace of mind and a solid dealer. I feel that his business encompasses those qualities.
It is very clear to me that Don has earned the great reputation that he has.
