wondering if i can use same box for each size sub. will just have a different cutout for each sub. can i do this or will there be some downsides?

The downside will be that different subs require different box sizes...What sub do you have now, which one do you wanna replace it with, and whats your current box size (Lenght, Width, Hight) or cubic feet...

well right now i have a dd 9515 in a 4th order bp thats 4cft tuned to 45. i wanna put it in a 5cft ported box. im not necessarily switching, im just curious if it's ok to do so. if i do do this then id make sure the subs work fine w/the box.

I mean the specs are suppose to match, but theres not harm testing them in the box, and if they dont work correctly then build yourself a new box...

it wont work. any difference in output between drivers that share common airspace call cancel each other out and create distortion. common rule of thumb, dont share airpsace with too many subs or different subs.
