does anyone have or know of one that will not skip on higher spl? like the old Sony mobile es with esp or with g-protection

An Alpine IDA-X001 and an iPod.
No CD, no skip.

I just got rid of my pioneer 880 because of that, Try kenwood.. My kenwood 890 has NOT skipped once, on me.

a lot of decks these days have built in anti skip

cant use ipod it is for usaci streetbeat competition. has to be a cd player

Don't get a Pioneer
my eclipse 8443 doesnt skip at all unless the CD is really really REALLY scratched.
