just need a little feedback on this hu... considered buying the prs880, but it came doa when ii got it and now they will gimme this deck for the same price if i want...


does it have the flexability of the 880 and features as well....

NOPE !! 880 has more features geared toward SQ. Better EQ, ability to go active and an outright sexier look. The 980 has bluetooth and prettty little color screen.

But look for yourself.

The only thing different on the compare is the seperate L/R EQ function.

To my knowledge the 980 does NOT have NW (network) mode.






After skimming through the 980 owner's manual I know for a fact that 980 does NOT support this. Standard mode only.

Just so everyone knows, I wouldn't go to Pioneer's website for info unless it is general info. They've been known to be a little off.

Ooops.. forgot about the network mode (auto-eq/ta). I was too busy going down the list to see what they all listed different and forgot the obvious ones.

It does have auto eq and TA. Those aren't part of NW mode.
