thanks i guess im going to have to save up some more unless anyone has any suggestions on a set in the same price range as the ones i listed

You can get brand new RSd65cs's on ebay for under $90 including shipping. That's a hard deal to beat.

x3 on the RSDs

what are you going to be amping them with? If you dont have an amp, I suggest Profile amps, they are good budget amps for those who dont want to spend alot

i will be powering the components with a JBL CS60.4

oo what are the specs when the amp is bridged it puts out 140x2, it should make those PGs sound really nice, just set your gains right and you should be fine

07-20-2007, 04:54 PM
yea i was thinking on bridging it seeing as these will be the only speakers in the truck
how is the midbass on these?
im highly doubtful that i can fit any kind of sub in this truck so i want something with good midbass
the trucks a 95 chevy s10 single cab

From what I hear, these components have really good midbass!!

ok i think im going to be purchasing theat set when i get the money
now does anyone have any suggestions on what i should do as far as a substage? i have a real limited amount of room in this truck

For a substage check out the Kicker CVT line, pretty much the same as the CVR's but shallow mount. Either that or you could look into some 8's but I think mounting depth is going to be your biggest issue, and the shallow mounts will have a smaller mount depth then many 8's

The treo SSi 8 is an awesome 8". i think it's 500w rms. I'm planning to run a couple of those in my car. I think it'll work great in your truck

yea i was looking into those kickers but i was wondering if they had good output all the shallow mount subs that i have had experience with didnt really have much output

cvt's sound pretty nice for a shallow mount sub
